Hi,
I have a mechanical jukebox that no longer works and I have converted it to play MP3s susing some freeware. I would like it redone so I can use all the features on the jukebox.
The buttons on the jukebox range from 0 to 9 and two letters, A & B. There is also a reset button when a selection is entered incorrectly. There is a money slot. All the buttons on the jukebox are wired to a keyboard interface and can be programmed to output any number or character on a keyboard.
When I press 89A for example, the jukebox will play song 89A.mp3. When I press 89A and then 65A, the jukebox will play the first song and queue up the second and play it when the first is finished.. and so on.
I would like a credit function so when a switch is triggered from the coinslot, a certain number of credits can be played. There is a maximum of 3 different coin switches. No credit no play. I would also like a freeplay mode.
I would like to use this on other jukes but the button configurations can be different so this has to be taken into account.
There is no screen as such and the PC runs "blind". It must be able to run straight from power up.
Hope you can help.
