I need a plug-in written for Trillian's Instant Messaging Platform called Astra.
The concept is to be able to forward messages received in trillian astra to an e-mail address.
When a message comes in to Trillian Astra, the plug-in should conditionally take that message and send it to an e-mail address.
When it forwards a message, it should optionally pop up a systray notification for 5 seconds
The options for the plug-in should be:
Radio Button Choose One:
Forward ALL Instant Messages
Forward Instant Messages only if an Astra IM window is not already open for that nickname.
Check Boxes:
Forwarding is enabled
Include Name at beginning of forwarded message
Show Systray notification
Numberic Edit Field:
Max message length to send: If it's longer than this length, the plugin will break it up into multiple messages.
The parameters should be:
SMTP info for sending messages:
userid
password
server
Info for where messages are to be forwarded:
e-mail address
When Trillian or the plugin is opened, the parameters for the plugin should be the same as they were when it was last open.
The plug-in should be written in VBA preferably, but Visual C++ may also be acceptable. If this is not possible, other languages will be considered.
