Hello, I am in the planning process of completely changing the look and feel of my website Ballparks.com. The first challenge is to change out of the frames and into a single page look. But, the problem with that is that we have well over 750 venues, names always changeing (with more coming) to be able to show each and every venue for ease of movement within the site (see left side menu and upper menu). My goal is for it to be database driven and to speed up my time in adding, correcting and changing the individual pages. I need the ability to make ONE change in the code to go through all 5,000 + pages that I have up. My goal is to have the site be able to be served up on ESPN, cbssportsline, etc's websites. I'm also in the thinking stage of adding the ability to create a community site where visitors to the individual pages could rate the venue ([login to view URL]), add pictures and editorials,. I'm thinking about adding a section for resturants/hotels in the area of the venue to buy a slot for a one time fee of say $50.00 from us. I saw this on a site called Johnnyroadtrip.com. Eventually we will want to approach the many venues about a partnership where Ballparks would take over the maintenance of the website and generate revenue via other avenues and also create a powerful network to attract major sponsors. A website by the name of [login to view URL] attempted to do this and failed due to it's poor design. An example of what we are proposing is the Official College Sports Network ([login to view URL]) where they have taken on all the college websites to form a consortium to generate increased revenue and reduce overhead costs. Here is another potential partner to serve into their pages. You should be a sports fanatic, which will help you understand the mentality of the visitors to my site. If you have a Big Vision cabability of sewing all these types of websites together for my site, please respond.
