I'm looking to have written a Mac OS version of the "MID Converter v4.2" made (see <[login to view URL]>).
Essentially this program lets you queue up a series of MIDI files, and it plays them back through your attached MIDI equipment, and simultaneously records the audio stream as an MP3, WMA, etc...
This application is unique in that it does not rely upon an internal tone generator to "convert" the MIDI files to MP3, but rather sends the MIDI files to my MIDI equipment and then records the resulting audio produced. I should be able to choose the MIDI output and select the Audio input - which will be my firewire audio interface.
A key feature that this application needs to support is the ability for me to queue up a number of MIDI files, to select either full transcription, demo transcription or both, and then away it goes. Demo transcription will be taking a 30 second chunk out of the middle of the song.
I'll upload a Word document to further explain the details of this application.
