CSS and XHTML and javascript Guru needed for ecommerce site

We are a young web 2.0 company in need of an expert in XHTML/CSS and javascript. We need an amazing front end coder who is excited about coding. We want standards based (DIVs) code that is lean, clean, and well commented. We are building an ecommerce site with a PHP back end, we are also using smarty to do basic templating, so some experience with smarty would be a plus. We are looking for someone to code the entire front end of the site. We already have the design done in Layered PNG's from Fireworks. We will send you the files. You must have a good eye for design and extensive experience building UIs in HTML and CSS (with an emphasis on cross-browser/cross-platform compatibility and general accessibility). You will also need to code email templates. We need an individual or team who is extremely reliable, excited, and communicative. We have had bad experiences with freelancers, so please be at the top of your game. If things work out we will use you for our ongoing frontend coding. We plan on having releases once a month. You must give a custom response or you will not be considered.

## Deliverables

1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.

2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):

a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.

b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.

3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
