EXCEL MACRO NEEDED

PROGRAM NAME: "UPDATE-QUANTITY" DESCRIPTION: Use an EXCEL MACRO to create a new excel file from 2 existing excel files. File1: Generated on the fly via user interface. Has 2 fields called CODE1 and QUANITY1 File2: Existing file named [login to view URL] Consists of many fields, however we are only using ITEMNO and EQ_CODE File3: This is the New file that will be generated from File 1 and File 2 above. Name of this file must be unique. The current date and time should be a part of the file name. File name should be [login to view URL] DD = CURRENT DAY MM = CURRENT MONTH YYYY= CURRENT YEAR HHMM = CURRENT TIME File has 2 fields whose names are CODE and QUANTITY PROGRAM DESCRIPTION: Via a user interface, the File1 speadsheet opens. User may enter any number of records. QUANTITY1 field is a numeric field, intergers only, no decimal numbers allowed and cannot be less than zero. After entering in all the records, user clicks on BUTTON labeled “Generate QTYUPDATE file??. Must specify path to locate [login to view URL] Program then generates File3 as follows. Starting with the first record in File 1, CODE1 is checked against EVERY record in File 2. If CODE1 = ITEMNO then A new record is added to File3 where CODE=ITEM_EQ QUANITY=QUANITY1 For a given record in File1 there will be many records generated in File3 having the same # in the QUANTITY field but different data in the ITEM-EQ field. If there are NO instances where CODE1=ITEMNO then append a record to File3 where CODE=CODE1 and QUANTITY=QUANTITY1. After all records in File2 have been searched, move to next record in File1 and start the process again.
