an auction script in php was made but it has to be finished and the main home page and all items pages and signup pages have to be designed (html and php)
the work done is here
and
message me for username / password
must add/modify some features and do all the html design
there has to be a home page
this home page is this style of
with
thumbs
titles
and
Current bid (if there is no bid Current bid = minimum bid input by admin)
thumbs 7 rows thumbs of 5 columns per page
then text links to other pages and Next
(should be around 100 items in an auction)
the item pages look like this but only the logo at the top
<[login to view URL]>
nothing but Title and description
and
Current Bid: (in none = minimum bid set by admin)
Next Bid: (+$10)
End Date: 8/28/2004 12:00:00 PM
You must register (link to register) to bid.
and
Listings (link to main index)
need auction features:
need to have something to see all bids in a spreadsheet type of thing how about
on a page list text showing name of item then amount linked to bidder with history of all
if none then write minimum or text= minimum
when the auction Close Date passes can we "Reset" to new date first prompt "Are you sure you want to Reset will delete all items" if yes then remove all items, Keep All Registered Bidders
lets get this straight about the bidding
the guy has to bid an amount equal to the current bid +$10 but he can bid a lot higher a "Maximum"
when he bids a "Maximum" which is more than the current bid + $10
the current bid is replaced by the old current bid +$10 not by his "Maximum" bid
the amount of the "Maximum" bid is used up so to speak as follows whenever a bid increases the current bid it is beaten by the "Maximum" bids and when a "Maximum" bid is beaten an email is sent to the guy saying your Maximum on the item "Title" for the amount $x was beaten click here to bid (can link to home page, item page i dont care)
