This is a bid request for the creation of an online PHP script that generates a GIF animation (up to five frames), based on the input of an online user.
Of course, more details will be given to the chosen coder, but these are some important guidelines:
- The project consists of an HTML form, a PHP script that uses either GD or ImageMagick, and a result page. It also has to keep keep track of simple statistics (# of generated images, # of users) via MySQL.
- Frames of the animated gif can be customized by the user in advance via the form. The last frame inserted is a standard one.
- This script has to be secure: no code injections, cross-scripting, hammering the server, etc.
- CPU-friendliness is top priority, as I expect the script to be used by many. Optimized and commented coding is required.
- I will provide the base template images as well as several examples to give you insight in the idea behind this project.
- Sandbox server with GD and ImageMagick is available.
Thanks everyone in advance for bidding!
