Troubleshoot an issue with a calendar that is presented in Flash. The calendar content is managed via a web based backend that connects to a MySQL database. The issue is that, currently, the backend and flash calendar works fine. We are in the process of moving to a new server, and on the new server the calendar and supporting backend are not working.
Trying to log into the backend returns several MySQL errors. On the front end the calendar dates, months, and event information does not load.
I expect that the solution could be as simple as running a script on the new server to connect the database, flash presentation, and the web management systems together. Also be sure to understand that this flash, backend, and database are all working on current server - so this may serve as a good starting point for troubleshooting as longs as the functionality remains working (no adverse impacts to the current working server/ site).
The following requirements would need to be met before payment is released:
Requirement : Flash presentation of existing calendar events.
Validation : Viewing calendar page on website will display all applicable content.
Requirement : Backend calendar management functionality fully restored.
Validation : log into backend and view events list (verification that connection to existing database is working and that all data is presenting).
Validation : log into backend (via web interface) create new event with all attributes. On saving, the new event will display on the event list and the flash calendar.
