Scheduling project in PHP - repost

We want to add a scheduling database for our service department. We are a construction company and we have multiple employees who assigned to work on different jobs on different days. Attached is a mockup of what we have in mind for the entry UI for users. The final project does not need to match the mockup or our current database in color or style. We are open to whatever works best and function is more important to us that fashion. This new database will need to be integrated with our current php databases (more on that later). Jobs (shown down the left of the mock up) will only be assigned to days (they won't have a hour they start or end at, just a day). We would like to be able to drag a job over to the scheduling area and adjust the dates by clicking on the sides of the box if possible, then drop employees on top of the job to assign them to the job for specific days. We'd also like the color of the job to change once it has been scheduled (on the attached mockup, the job with employees scheduled is green, the jobs without scheduled employees are orange). We have an existing PHP database with some of the information already in tables for other databases we currently use. The person who created the current databases does not have the time to maintain them anymore, so not only do I need to add this project to our database, but I need someone who can make occasional updates to our current databases. The live database is hosted on our internal network on a windows server running WAMP(screenshot of server setup attached). I can send all our current files to the winning programmer. I will need help installing the new updated database once the work is final. I tried to answer other questions here: [login to view URL] I believe two new tables will need to be created. One for employees with the fields NAME, LEVEL, and LOCATION. The second table will be for the locations and will just host a list of the locations in the employee fields. Job number will come from the current database called job lob. I would like to limit the jobs a user sees by the first character of the job log. Jobs start with 0,1,2,4, and 5. So I would like to define by user what jobs they can see based on the first character in the job number field. I will only accept the bid of a programmer who demonstrates that they have read and understand the scope. I can answer more questions and provide more information as needed, but I am not an expert on coding or administration of WAMP/PHP. As an example, I can send the winning programmer the current database files but I will need them to tell me the steps or log into our server (which I can make happen) and export the files they need. If you would prefer a more limited scope for the first project, that is fine. Just communicate how you believe the project should be broken up. If you think a different approach would be simple or work better, please let me know. The need for this database is not urgent, but I do want to start making some progress soon. Thanks.
