We're looking to bring the current website out of the 20th century for a bold new look to stand behind our rock solid learning products which many of our customers agree are the absolute best available in this area. We're an online store that sells musical education products (less than 50 products) I've already got a template selected for the Joomla site (Joomlashack's Vintage) and have done a lot of research as far as what components, modules, etc. I want to use. Please review the following list:
-Virtuemart Storefront - Needs to fit into look and feel of rest of site.
-Fireboard Forum Component - I currently have a small phpbb forum, if possible, I'd like to migrate it to Fireboard (only 50 forum members on the old forum)
-Joomlaworks Front Page Slideshow - To be used in a module on the front page for news.
[url removed, login to view] Status Icon on all pages of site (it's a live chat
application I own)
-Google Translation Module
-RSS Feed(s) Syndication - Currently like RD_RSS but there is a new one coming out that will be better end of November I've been told.
-Seyret Video Gallery Component - Needs to fit into look and feel of rest of site. I will provide the videos and descriptions.
-PonyGalleryML - I've done a TON of research on the photo gallery and decided on this component. Up to you to come up with the best layout and design of the gallery.
-mooFAQ component for FAQ
-Components Lab Support Center (Support ticket system (May not need mooFAQ with this)
-Testimonials display with ability for site visitor to submit via RSForm! meaning they submit through a form and we manually add it
so it is consistent with whatever style we're using.
-Guestbook (Jambook seems to work) for old friends to sign (not as critical as the Testimonials)
-Use of Newsflash module to display random testimonials in module positions throughout the site.
-Press page which displays newspaper article clippings and press quotes
-A good sitemapping component (not sure which one yet, open to suggestions)
-JV Link Exhanger for reciprocal link management
-Front-end file download system where registered users can download free content (probably use RSFiles! for this)
-Some SEF URL component (to be discussed with you based on your experience and my research)
-Some other minor security-related components (captcha stuff)
I need someone that can create the website in such a way that it's easy for me to update, will get more into this when we talk..There will be no content/copy writing done on your part. Simply layout and design as well as transferring content. Based on my list it sounds like a lot but a lot of the ground work is already done (the template is in place, and almost all the extensions are installed. I'm looking to spend $400 to $500 for this project.
