I am searching for someone with expert knowledge of template and theming systems and related code, like that used in gmail, phpbb, and other web applications.? I'd like to make some improvements to an existing theme system that allows users to choose different themes; choices? are saved using PHP class system and MySQL.? ? Currently, users can change their themes within their accounts (based on the available themes manually uploaded to the existing dir structure).? But I would like to be able to allow admin to set different themes for different users based on different criteria set by admin. Should be a very simple project for someone with knowledge of themes/template systems.?
Specific deliverables include code modification/additions to:
1.? Allow admin to "tie" a particular *type of user* to a particular theme.? Types of users already exist, so I just need code to allow certain types of users to? "see" a different theme than other types.?
2. Allow admin to "tie" a particular *assignment* to a particular theme. Again, assignments already exist, so I simply need code to allow admin to connect the assignment to a particular theme.
3. Users can currently change themes within their user accounts. I also would like to allow the user to just change the *fonts* and *colors* of a theme (this will involve using an already existing file? that is currently? associated with each theme, and is called by the CSS file).
There will also likely be some changes needed to the CSS file and system to allow for this greater flexibility.? All changes must fit into the existing MVC framework, so advanced knowledge of PHP/CSS? are likely needed.?
