Fine tuning of language selector #2

I am creating a membership website in two languages, Icelandic and English. The language is selectable in the top right corner of every page.

I need a code snippet inserted so that once a language is selected, on any page, it stays the same, on any page, until a different language is select.

I further need the default language of the site to be Icelandic.

Below are the pages in question. Note that as this is a membership site only the pages on this site of "members" are available for you to view.
