We are looking for an experienced User Interface Developer. You need a strong grasp of both current web design best practices and emerging social web technology (Web 2.0) to deliver exceptional products for our clients. Experience building interfaces using Ajax, CSS and Javascript Frameworks, will be crucial to your success in this role. If you can also hack and code plug-ins and modules for the frameworks, all the better. You will turn the functionality of our applications, developed by the core developers, into magic... Responsibilities Include: * Taking PSDs, wireframes and other project documentation and turning them into well-formed user interfaces * Skinning and templating user interfaces * Related web development and production duties Required Skills and Experience: * Several years experience building accessible and semantically-coded web user interfaces * Demonstrable experience with javascript frameworks and user interfaces for professional clients * Very strong to expert CSS, XHTML, javascript and/or AJAX skills * Basic PHP skills to work with delivered back-end code * Core understanding of the web medium including accessible design principles * Strong understanding of user experience principles, interaction design and information architecture * Strong people, communication, and interpersonal skills * Good understanding and writing in English is a must!
## Deliverables
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):
a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.
b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
