See the attached html fragment. There are two sets of date selectors. Each set allows the selection of a begin date and an end date. The project is to write the javascript to set the default values for the the second set of date begin and end selectors. The default values are determined as follows. The second set of date selectors determine the date range that the first date range will be compared to. When the first date range changes, then the second set of date selectors should default to the same length of time, ending just prior to the first date selector start date. Some examples.
Start Date: 2006-10-15
End Date: 2006-10-20
Then the javascript would set the second set of selectors to
Compare Begin Date: 2006-10-09
Compare End Date: 2006-10-14
So you see that the Javascript sets the compare end date to the day before the Start Date, and the compare end date so that the compare range covers the same number of days. Another Example
Start Date: 2007-01-31
End Date: 2007-01-31
Then the Javascript would set the compare dates to
Compare Start Date: 2007-01-30
Compare End Date: 2007-01-30
