My web site is designed with CSS. I have a static navigation menu which currently just consists of plain text hyperlinks that go to various pages of my site. I wish to improve this menu as follows: R1. Each menu item must now open a drop-down sub-menu when the mouse hovers over it. R2. When the mouse hovers over a menu item, its appearance (background) must change so it looks like a button. The main point is to provide the code to change the background image on the button. I will accept any reasonable image, as long as I can easily replace it myself by uploading a new image of the same dimensions. R3. Must match the existing color scheme of my site Optional features: O3. Semi-transparent sub-menus Technical requirements: T4. The solution MUST be compatible with (at minimum) Firefox 2, Firefox 3, Safari, IE6, IE7, and Opera T5. The solution MUST gracefully degrade in plain-text browsers, and browsers where Javascript has been disabled. T6. Semi-transparent sub-menus MAY NOT work in all browsers (i.e., IE). T7. The solution MUST be minimal, small and lightweight. I will reject solutions with extraneous or confusing code, and demand that you reduce the code size. I am looking for something approximately this complex: [url removed, login to view] As soon as I accept your bid, I will provide my web site URL, from which you can obtain page source code, my current menu background image, and my CSS. I will NOT provide an FTP login to my site. I want you to simply provide the files to me, which I will visually inspect and test on my local machine before installing on my site myself.
## Deliverables
Deliver the final solution as a ZIP file containing minimally modified HTML page, and minimally modified version of my site-wide CSS. Changes to my existing code must be _minimal_, as I will be copying/pasting these changes in to the code by hand. Make it easy for me on the first revision, to earn a perfect rating at the end of the project. I will use the Linux diff(1) utility to inspect your changes, so it is very important that you do NOT modify the style of the code (for example, by importing it into a WYSIWYG editor) or make any unrelated changes. I will reject any deliverables with unrelated changes. 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows? (depending on the nature? of the deliverables):
a)? For web sites or? other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.
b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software? installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
