Snippet and Rotator script

Overview: Application 1) I am using a service that generates articles straight from it's server to my websites. See eg: [login to view URL] Application 2) I have a content rotator . It can rotate any html or text files, on a page. See eg of page where content is being rotated: [login to view URL] (click refresh and a new content will appear each time) I need a script that would generate snippets from those articles that was generated by the article [login to view URL] the snippets are generated it would be uploaded automatically to my remote folder where i have TOS installed. eg remote folder [login to view URL] The script would have an html page where i can enter the following fields information : ----------------------------- 1) Url of Folder where articles are eg : [login to view URL] 2) No of characters per snippets eg 200 3) No of snippets per page : eg 4 So if there are 400 articles in the folder , The script would generate 100 pages with 4 snippets (of 200 characters) on each page. eg of such a page with 3 snippets: [login to view URL] 4) name of pages : aa , pages would be in the form of aa1,aa2 -aa400 5) Url of TOS folder [login to view URL] FTP details : domain: username: password: --------------------------- Snippet Creation : 1) Use the Title from the meta tag Title, for each snippet with a link to this article page 2) Grab the 1st (100-300) characters after a tag placed in each article page eg 3) specify font ,color, size
