I need something small written in either C or Assembly that calls cmos to reboot the computer.
Requirements :
1 - Must be small (as small as possible)
2 - Must assemble / compile on linux (gnu)
3 - Must be portable (i.e. likely to work with 99% of all semi recent bios makes)
When I run ./yourprogram , it should be just like somoene pushed the reset button.
The reason this is being done outside of conventional tools is its a last resort to reboot a server thats gone way out of control.
