69908 Database Driven Website

I've read that there are ways to create a website that is so database driven you can create literally thousands of pages under *one* website pretty easily using a script that auto creates the pages and each page being unique. Here is the excerpt of what I've read -------------------- Databases enable 10,000-1,000,000 page sites to be put up quickly. Now 100,000 page sites can be easily generated from a database. If the webmaster is competent they're also using ISAPI Rewrite or mod_rewrite to make those dynamic database created URLs look static so that Google can't tell that the pages aren't hand written. I wrote a script that enabled a friend to make a 1,500,000 page site. Amazingly, Google has indexed 1,000,000 of his pages ------------------- My project would be to create such a site for my company. I am trying to build a directory, and this would aid greatly.
