I'm running a VPN (pptp) on a Linux server and need to record the login/logout times of VPN users. I have no idea how to do this.. Perhaps by parsing an existing log file? Or by logging the up/down times of ppp+ interface? I'm open to any solution -- either your own scripting, or installation of an existing script. As I cannot give direct access to the server, please have a Linux system to test yourself first. Thanks!
