We are seeking the development of a realtime scheduling system capable of automating a user connect/disconnect from our shoutcast server.
NMR is a syndication provider for internet radio broadcasting. We want to automate a users ability to scedule airtime, and connect/disconnect from the stream without kicking the shoutcast stream thus loosing listeners.
Example:
10pm Server is streaming automated backup file.
1055pm User 1 connects to the broadcast system (a chat that counts down is time to connect and broadcast).
11pm scheduling system recognizes user 1, loads preroll commercial and then connects user to the stream.
1155pm scheduling system notes user 2 is logged in and starts to countdown his time to connect and broadcast, while notifying user 1 that user 2 is standing by.
1200am disconnects user 1, plays preroll commercial and connects user 2 to the stream.
The scheduling system must allow for the system to recognize and play a random backup file in the event a user is not scheduled. This means that we will have a set directory on the server to select pre recorded users. This must be able to continue random selection until a physical user is scheduled.
Display of the scheduling system must display in a calendar type schedule system based on 2 hour increments of the day the listener views the schedule. This means we need to allow the listener to select a timezone that will update the schedule for their viewing. This process should be simplified.
[url removed, login to view] has such a script process built in an irc chat however has no way to contact the original coder/developer to obtain permissiont share the script. They are willing to assist in redeveloping the process. Attached is a word doc with screen shots of the IRC Chat and we have broadcasters/users that use the system capable to assist in development.
Budgeting is set at 1,000.00 - 3000.00 and will NOT be prepaid. Payment will only occur 3 days after debugging and corporate certification of completion provided. Payment will only be made by Bank Wire.
