Whois script - repost 4

Today we have a file with many whois severs that looks up different kidns of domain names.

Exampler for .com domain : .com|[url removed, login to view]|No match for

This returns status if the domain is available and whois text.

We have now a .tld that have different services fot each of theese two task

One service for whois information and one service for checking the status of the domain . if its

Service checking for status giving following replies.

•If a domain can be registered, the answer is that the domain is available.

•If a domain is already registered, the answer is that the domain is already delegated, which means that it is already registered.

•If the domain cannot be registered of some particular reason, the answer is that the domain can not be registered.

Service for whois output.

Gives default domain information about owner etc.

We talked to the system provider and they suggested as follow: That we create a script that does the availability check and then the WHOIS check and outputs the results in a single page. You can then use this custom page in your [url removed, login to view] file as a http lookup. For example, if the domain is available, then you would output No Matches otherwise, you can output the WHOIS information.

Example:

.no|[url removed, login to view]|HTTPREQUEST-No Matches
