I need a PHP, PERL or Python function that takes these parameters:
$file_to_open,$array_of_strings_to_search(), $array_of_strings_to_replace,$file_to_write
The function will open the specified RTF file, search for each occurrence of of the strings in $array_of_strings_to_search() and replace them with the corresponding value in $array_of_strings_to_replace. Some instances may exist multiple times in the document.
Upon completion that file is saved as a PDF with the name and location specified in $file_to_write.
Returns TRU upon successful completion or FALSE upon failure.
PHP preferred.
I have attached a file with a link to phpinfo on my site if you need to check my PHP configuration.

My intent is to have a PDF brander that I can replace tags formatted like ##URL## with replaceable. ##NAME##, ##PHONE##, etc. Just make up any RTF and throw some of those tags in to test. Clickable links need to work after replacement. Links might either be [Click here][1] , for example, in which case I would pass the entire url. Or: [I don't mind using doc files. I also don't mind skipping directly to the PDF which I would upload with the tags in it and have the function work directly on the PDF.
