Wordpress Plugin Displaying Used Vehicles Via External Feed

Project Description: We are developing a website for a client using Wordpress as the CMS platform. We are looking for a developer who can provide the technical skills necessary for importing content into Wordpress via XML/RESTful/JSON. There are to be 2 feeds - one for a used vehicles listing and a second for a finance calculator. Skills Required: PHP, MySQL, Javascript, Jquery, Web Services integration using REST or XML, Wordpress Specific Tasks: Used Vehicle Listing Plugin Integrating an external feed from automotive software company Pinnacle using their EditionVehicleData web service (XML). We would like this functionality to be developed as a Wordpress plugin. We want the vehicle information to be stored in the Wordpress database as a custom post type. Data would be updated by the data feed using a cron job set to run every 30 minutes. The feed normally consists of less than 100 vehicles. Need the ability to force refresh of the data from the Wordpress admin. Need the option to keep a vehicle on the website even if de-listed from the feed and will be marked as sold (this is for a ‘recently sold’ list display). Plugin output must be in HTML5 with shortcode output. Fields required: RegistrationNumber, RegistrationDate, MakeDescription, ModelDescription, SpecDescription, Colour, Interior, BodyStyle, Transmission, EngineSize, FuelType, Mileage, Options, Images (up to 9), InternetPrice User must be able to search/filter through vehicles by make, model, price, colour/paginate results. Form integration so customers can make enquiries on selected vehicles (using Gravity Forms plugin) A full design guide in PSD/HTML for the output will be supplied. Integration guide/technical document from Pinnacle will be supplied. Finance Calculator Integrating an external feed from Quoteware 3 from Ivendi web service which can be supplied in SOAP, XML/RESTful/JSON format. Information to be displayed in a finance calculator Wordpress widget which can be placed at various places throughout the site. Users must be able to apply for finance via a link to Ivendi's website. We want this functionality to be developed as a Wordpress plugin. We want the output to be shown on the frontend via a short code. Examples of uses on other websites will be supplied. A full design guide in PSD/HTML for the output will be supplied. Rough timescales on this project are 3-4 weeks (we can be more specific before commencement).
