The project at hand is a stockphoto site similar to [[login to view URL]][1]. I am almost looking to clone the site in a way. The overall functionality of this site will be a system which is based on credits. Users have the option to pay for credits to download stockphotos which are currently on the site and artists have the ability to submit their art work to the site. If the artists' art work is accepted then they will be given the option to be paid with credits to download other work or the option to be paid a commission base upon their image sales. This will mean that the site will have to work hand in hand with a merchant. Hopefully the merchant can be a site like [login to view URL] or something that is reasonable and reccommended by the coder. Files should be categorized in a manner similar to istockphoto.com. Each file should have the option to be reviewed by users. Submitting members should be given the option to describe their files. Files should be displayed on site with some sort of watermark, in this case it will be a [login to view URL] watermark. This will need to be auto generated to protect the files from being abused by non paying members. You should be able to search for files returning files that match your query and browse files by listed categories. There should be a most popular files area inwhich the files that are downloaded the most are featured and also photos that are ranked the highest by user votes. There should also be a designer showcase area where designer's can submit their work on client projects or their use of stockphotos within projects. A gallery area where artist can create themes with photos that are on the site with there own photos or other artist photos. There will need to be a forum / message board in which people can communicate with one another and directly with the photograb staff. There will be a store which will have products for sale and a system for help.
