eBay has a feature where users with eBay shops can download csv files of the? sales that they have made.
This works by eBay sending them an eMail with a link in it.
On clicking the link the user is asked to log in (if he isnt logged in already) and then prompted to download the file.
We want to automate this so it works without any interaction from the user.?
We have a VB6 project that opens Outlook, reads through the Inbox, identifies the eBay eMails from the subject and isolates the link, and now we are stuck !
What we need is code that will follow the link and download the file to a specified folder on the PC with a name that we supply. We will then process the file into our admin system.
We have previously requested bids on this and have had a coder who has given us a solution that works, but involves Save As dialogues popping up which could disrupt a user if he is doing something else; so we need this to happen in the background
