I am using AWSTATS on one of my web servers. I need a small program, I am thinking in VB, to allow me to input several URLs for it to scan. I have 4 VHOST I would like to scan to tell me how much bandwidth users are using. I would have 4 domains like this: [url removed, login to view] [url removed, login to view] etc Once that page loads up I want it to look for the code that says Last Update: 06 Jan 2007 - 09:01 Date and time will change, when data changes, I want it to start a new log, so I can see how many users are visiting and bandwidth usage for each day. AWStats doesn't do this. So what needs to be done is a little math. The program will have to calculate the totals. For instance, Day 1 ??" [url removed, login to view], Day 2 ??" 3.8 GB. AWStats adds the data. So on day1 the user downloaded 1.5 GB, on day 2 the user downloaded 2.3 GB. Then below that there are a few sets of tables and all I want it the IP and Bandwidth usage saved. The info parsed needs to be dumped in HTML format so I can check it. The output can be dumped anywhere on the local machine, also configurable from the program. I also need to be able to set the frequency the program will scan. Every minute, every 15 minutes, etc I would like to be able to set the username and password or have the option not to use one. (Only need to authenticate for HTACCESS) I would like a friendly, simple GUI and a clean readout of the statistics. am using this program to detect abuse, so I want the option for the program to Flag an IP when it hits a certain amount of bandwidth that I can configure within the program (e.g. Flag at 2GB, or 3GB). If this is to time consuming then simply be able to list highest bandwidth usage on top and go down in order would be fine. Really, either way doesn’t bother me.
