This is a re-design of an existing (un-finished) site, which you can see here: [login to view URL]
Please note:
1. The old site is for reference only: this project is for an entirely new site.
2. The new site should be hosted on the programmer's development server so that it can be viewed during development
3. The existing graphics & text content should be re-used, with the exception of the menu system (see point 4 below).
4. The new menu system is in the attached doc "menus.xls". Not all of the menu items will have content, content will be added at a later date, but the menus should appear as in the attached xls. ALL the graphics and text from the old site should be re-used at the corresponding menu locations
5. The OS is Linux/Apache, DB (if required) will be MySQL, any coding must be PHP5 (with Javascript if absolutely necessary).
6. There is user interaction at 2 points: A. the contact form B. the on-line order form. There does not need to be on-line payment capability, the data entered on the forms will be delivered via email when the user clicks 'send' (no need for database interaction). On the order form, the product should be selectable by drop-down. No need for prices to be displayed on the order form.
7. The site must be frameless, with styling in standards-compliant CSS
8. The site must render correctly in IE6, IE7, FireFox 1, Firefox 2 and Safari.
9. The site must pass W3C validation at [login to view URL]
10. Flash is forbidden. Animated graphics and text are forbidden.
11. The site re-design must be logical, professional & business-like, with clean & intuitive navigation. This re-design is a major part of this project, so bidders must be able to supply reference sites of their previous work before the contract is awarded.
