The latest version of Qualcomm's BREW mobile OS SDK offers a capability that did not exist in previous versions of BREW: the ability to set a handset video ringtone.
I'm looking for a proof-of-concept, running on the emulator, that demonstrates that this capability does work.
## Deliverables
The BREW MP SDK exposes a field? ? VIDEORING in pim_IContacts.h (and
pim_IContactsSearch.h).?
Semi-reliable sources have told me that this field is supported on the current emulator.
What I need is to prove this to be true. I need a small proof-of-concept app that installs video ringtones into contacts.
Deliverable will include the source code to accomplish this, as well as detailed instructions that will take me all the way from installing the BREW MP SDK through demonstrating that a video ringtone plays when a simulated call arrives.
It will be fine for this to run on the emulator. You do not need to have access to any BREW MP devices or prototypes.
