Maintenance Database

I require a Motorcycle Maintenance database with a Visual Basic 6 or later front end to manage the data with. The program should use an Access database or possibly a SQL database. All componants will be Microsoft. I want to be able to add my various motorcycles to it with the ability to track maintenance, parts, costs, part numbers and scheduled maintenance for each bike. I currently own 2 and would like to have the ability to add as many as 10 different motorcycles. Edit----Additional information Multiple tables in database for data. Database normalization to 3rd normal form to be used for tables. Programmed in ADO or DAO or .net Can be SQL 2000 or MS SQL SERVER 2005 or Access Database. Some of the data I think I need to capture follows:** Motorcycle file name** Current Date, Year, Make. Model. Current odometer reading- ability to add a photo of each bike that comes up with the bike selected. **General Information** Vin, Registration Month, Tag Number. Purchase Date, Price, Purchased From **Insurance Information** Policy Number, Insurance Company, Agent, Telephone Number, Expiration Date **Maintenance Information** Milage, Oil Filter, Air Filter, Oil Change, Oil quarts, Spark plugs, Coolant Change quarts, Other, Price. Performed by, Date **Parts and Repairs (Select Vehicle at top of form)** Mileage, Date, Repairs, Parts and Supplies Used, Labor, Tax, Total Cost **Maintenance Intervals - This will have the service intervals and actions recommended by the manufacturer along with actions actually performed.** Action = Miles or Months, Mileage performed, Date,Performed by, **Notes:** **Fuel costs** Date, Odometer, Gallons, Cost, Mpg? Hopefully this is enough information to give an idea of what I need. I am open to suggestions on final output. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform Has to run on Windows XP. If it can run on Windows 2000 also, that is ok.
