I need the GUI designed for an application, that is essentiallya file explorer window. ? If you open up aWindow in Windows 7 there is a bar to the left, one of the options isLibraries. I'm looking to clone this window with the left bar, file exploringsection, top menu, etc... It needs to look just like a real file window underWindows 7. The program should also run in Windows XP, Vista, and 2000(obviouslly minus the Aero theme for the window border itself but all controlsshould look the same on any version of Windows.
I've included a mock-up screen shot I made in Photoshop.
The program doesn't need to have any major functionalityother then the GUI interaction and exposed public methods to add files, etc. However, for debugging purposes, it should populate file lists for all the folders shownin the screenshot.
More details in advanced description.
## Deliverables
Program must be written entirely in C# and use well formedclasses (OOP programming). ? Should beable to easily add Folders and Sub-Folders to the left-menu and easily be ableto add files to the content of the window as folders are clicked. All textshould be customizable. Methods should exist to add a file to the list, set thedisplay view, etc.
The interface must look and function like an actual fileexplorer window in Windows 7. Populating the file information should be handledoutside of the display classes (encapsulation please!).
Well commented and designed code is a must! ?
You do not need to implement the preview pane.
All view styles should be supported (List, Details, manyIcon sizes, etc.) and offer the name GUI Windows 7 does for changing the view, organizing files, etc.
In short when this program is running most user should feellike it actually is a file window and not a program.
