so i want a online web application and i want it to provide several main features and then ill try to go in depth about each of those features

i want to focus on easy of use, very mac user intuitive style layouts and

programing

i want the site to have the feel of a social networking site, that way our people feel comfortable with the layout and interface,

when the site loads i want it to come up with the options for the 7 thngs ive listed below, but i also want it to show in the main window a to do list, with options for how it is listed, like day or week or month, the to do list should send automatic reminders through email or text message(options about this can be set in preferences)

there will be alot of cross referencing of information making

everything as easy to access and follow as possible, there needs to be a quick reference section inside of every section that links to anything they are connected to and needs to give a quick summary of how they are connected

in the main start up window there will be a to do list, i want people to be able to set a preference to either the to do list or an rss feed, that comes from the info from their list of profiles ill try to go more into depth when i figure it out exactly

1. address book basic info - geared towards the music business it will have 2 sides fans and industry people, when they click the address book section it should give them the choice to go to one side or the other, i would like the interfaces to be different so that theres a real distinction between the 2, these sections need to be searchable by every input field, i would like it laid out so that its just a search box and then a drop down box that lets you select which field to search in or to search them all........these should be kind of like a profile but should be able to be exported and sent to another user for quick input...............

Fan side of the address book details - name, nickname, email, mailing address with google maps integration, phone number, birthday(should link straight to the to do list as a reminder), myspace address, twitter, AIM or other instant message screen names), skype name, facebook address, options for how they want to receive updates, in profile twitter feed, i would like to be able to include up to 3 profile pictures for them, and a misc notes section, a rating sections by stars, 5 stars being top so you can rank the importance of a fan if necessary

Industry side of the address book - should have all the same features as the fan side, plus it needs to have a business section, like what company they work for, its website, office and work emails and phone numbers, this side of the address book will have a profile category(booking agent, lawyer, managemnet, record label, other w/ the option to create your own), a quick refence section to people who they are connected with that you have a profile for

2. a venue address book - used to store information concerning venues

and contact info for that venue, it will have google maps integration, as well as the the option

to list the information as public so that others can access the

information, or it can be kept private.....venues can also subbmit their venue for review to be included in the public list..............these should be kind of like a profile but should be able to be exported and sent to another user for quick input

venue section detail - some data fields makred with an asterisk must be filled in!! venue name*, venue website*, address*, city* and state* zip* country*, contact info for the venue, name then email and phone, 3 pictures, then they can choose a category for that person, status section for options like, bar yes or no, capacity, all ages, what type of venue

3. tour date or upcoming shows section - this sections needs an innovative way to be expressed, it needs to have all the information of the venue sections, plus a little bit more info like dates and google map integration, but it needs to be in a different format that is much easier to see a larger picture im not real sure on how to accomplish that yet, this section also needs a quick reference to people that live in the area for promotion purposes.............maybe a way to offer up available show trades or touring spots available maybe some type of internal program messaging between

registered members

4. bands section - this will be a list of bands and any relevant

information

bands section details - band name, band members names(contact info and primary contact), email addresses, any official band websites, booking agent, lawyer, management, record label, genre, 3 pictures and 3 mp3s.......these should be kind of like a profile but should be able to be exported and sent to another user for quick input

5. resource section - this is going to be a public list of different

references to things to help smaller indie bands, such as cd

designers, or myspace designers, where to get shirts in their

hometown, references to how to do the business aspects(it will be moderated

and checked before allowed through, no information can be modified

once its input expect by me or a moderator, but information can be

input by anyone)

6. email kiosk - this will be a locked section, bands can set up a

laptop open the kiosk, it will go full screen and lock itself open

until the password is input, and people can stop in and put their

email down on a mailing list

email kiosk details - basically all the info from the fan side of the address book

7. street team management section - this is a limited function section that user can give a login and password to acess certain features of their stored data

when the program opens it will open to a calender/to do list (this

will do automatic reminders to both email and text)

the fan side of the address book it could show her recent twitter
