I have a small business which currently sells 5 products and don't foresee ever going over 10 products on the site. I will need a landing page, which has customer feedback, striking high quality photos of healthy clean complexion women (this is a skin care products company). All wrapped up in a web 2.0 look. We are interested in using this project as a way of developing a longer term relationship with the whoever we hire. We’ve got some other projects in mind (like designing a personal business card or another larger website). Cost is a definite factor here. We are definitely as small as they come for a small biz, since this company is rebranding and re-emerging in the marketplace after a 10 year hiatus. I would like to able able to include adwords and other google optimization tools. SEO is highly needed. I would like to stay as close as possible to W3C standards by using CSS and HTML as much as possible. The logo is already designed. I have comparable websites I would like to emulate. I am not opposed to using a open source solution for the shopping cart, but have found many times that those solutions are overkill for what I need done. Shopping Cart: Any given customer could purchase a single product or one of each, or multiples, so the cart would be quite basic. I have even considered just using google checkout and paypal buttons for each product, coupled with the [login to view URL] application. I would like to have the ability to offer coupon codes or discounts as well. I would like to be able to determine postage fees based on the weight of each product. I would be selling in the USA only.
## Deliverables
I would need to see at least three good comps of what you think this site should look like based on my description. From there, once we have a clear understanding, we can cruise onto the development. 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):
a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.
b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
## Platform
I want to be able to do easy tweaking in Macromedia Dreamweaver 8 since I own that application.
