Bigcommerce API integration with 'Datafile Software'

Project Overview: Integration between a platform known as DataFile and 2 BigCommerce sites(Wholesale and Retail). The purpose of this integration will be to provide accurate stock levels and updates on a regular basis along with a handful of more advanced features. The DataFile System is tailored and will require adjustment to run smoothly. - Key information - Accessing DataFile: The DataFile database cannot be accessed directly. Accessing and working with DataFile requires the user to use CSV and SQL transaction files for inbound data and to utilize a mirrored SQL database for outbound data. Web Sites: Both websites(Wholesale and Retail) are on BigCommerce. Thus the integration will need to utilize the Bigcommerce API and webhooks in order to access and modify information on the store Development requirements: As part of the development process, it is required that any/all developers and team members utilize a form of version control system(preferably Git) and document code and components thoroughly. Server structure: Due to the nature of DataFile and Bigcommerce, it is proposed that an additional server/host is utilized in order to process, control and orchestrate all communication and processes required of the integration. Feature requirements: As part of the integration, the following features are required: - Stock level management via DataFile - Order syncing/transmission - Orders must be sent from Bigcommerce to the DataFile System. - Wholesale pricing tiers - Each product has a price for a customer tier ranging from 1-9. Each pricing tier needs to be pulled across from the DataFile system for all the products along with any customer information. - Order status updates - The integration must be capable of updating any orders with its current state/progress.
