Contract Front-End Drupal Developer

Our organization is seeking an Independent Contractor Part-time Front-End Drupal Developer. You must be highly organized, have excellent communication skills and are able to work independently in a virtual organization environment. Requirements: Demonstrated proficiency writing standards-compliant HTML5 and CSS3 Experience with Drupal 7 theming and basic site building tools (e.g. Views, Features) Proficiency with JavaScript/jQuery in a cross-browser, cross-device environment Understanding of current front-end and mobile development best practices Experience working with source-control with Git Experience using Drupal command-line tools (Drush) Experience using CSS preprocessors such as LESS, SASS, and/or Compass Experience with package manager/task automation tools such as Gulp and Bower The ability to quickly come up to speed on complex existing infrastructures Ability to work laterally in a group; can easily understand and/or attack a problem from a different team member's role and, when asked, can step outside of a job description to achieve a broader group goal. Independent worker This position is within a team of similar individuals. An average of 15-20 hour work week is required. Great email communication skills are a must.
