Fix PHP Error and Also Software Not returning results from search

We are currently having trouble with our xml software. It normally returns xml requests based on a keyword search or by matching an excel file with keywords. Right now it doesn't seem to be returning all of the results. We think it is because of an error we see in the error log: PHP Warning: mysqli_error() expects parameter 1 to be mysqli, null given in /home/user1423/public_html/admin/[login to view URL] on line 106 We need the above error to be fixed and for the software to return all results again.
