Scrape Single Webpage Daily into Google Spreadsheet (to create database overtime)

With pleasure I would like to perform this job. I prepared a working version of the demo (get 10 last transactions). Please look at my spreadsheet. [login to view URL] I wrote a Google script that connects to my program (PHP), which does all the magic :) The script is triggered automatically every 1 hour (you can set a different frequency). Additional, script can be run (manually on-demand) from the menu: Dwarfpool import -> Transactions for each of the tab will be done separate submenu. To test the import, simply delete the last couple of records from the spreadsheet and run the script from the menu or wait for the automatic start-up. The script will download only the new data since the last transaction id contained in the sheet. Because the import of each of the tabs work separately (manually and automatically), you can set a different frequency for automatic updates for each tab (sheet). Of course, the PHP script will be installed on your server (just PHP 5.x without special requirements). Full access to source code. Please to consider my proposal. Thank you for your time.

Let me tell you the detail process about scraping. 1, Request the html code of the page, send HTTP request to the url. For this job, it's easy because it's an GET request 2, Parse HTML code, use XPath to find HTML elements, for example, I want to get this text "Last 10 payouts" - the title of the first table shown on the page, then I search it in the HTML code (you can right click on the browser, select view source to see the HTML code of the page), then I see this line "<div class="panel-heading">Last 10 payouts</div>", then I will create XPath: //div[@class='panel-heading'], this XPath is to find the div element whose class attribute is 'panel-heading'. Create XPath for all necessary elements. 3, Save the InnerText value to the worksheets used to save data. Could you accept such a program?

Hello, I am interested in this task as I've previously complete a lot of projects involving scraping (outside of Freelancer). I would approach this problem by making a C# application that would simply scrape all the transactions and append them to the spreadsheet. This way you could set up a cron job in Windows that would run the script twice a day. Another option is ASP.NET script (website). This website could be hosted by you or me.
