Simple Database System

Hi Please be very familiar with the specs before inquiring. Here we go... [ I'll treat this as if it were only one database needed, ..then multiply it by 2,000! ] > Once upon a time.. That is, every 24 hours (at exactly midnight, heehee) the NEXT url in the database will be put into action. That is, the urls are not selected randomly, but successively, from first to last in the database until all are gone through. And when all are gone through, it will start from the top url again, and repeat process ad infinitum. Thank crOn! [ That would be very simple-easy, but there`s more... ] > Whereas there are so many databases needed, there needs to be a cacheing process. That is, upon the first time the script goes through the process of finding that next url within that database, it will also cache it to be readily called up the next time that on site link is clicked. Therefore, the script won`t have to go through the process of searching for the next link every time. [ I'm pretty sure this is possible because I had another script written for me involving dynamic changes on my sites, and involving the cacheing of the 24-hr database callups. ] > The cacheing is important because of server use..., yep. There are so many links and databases, all must be written as lightly as possible. Excessive spaces, extensive characters, so on.., as well need to be minimized. Imagine 2,000 links on different sites calling up their urls within their 2,000 respective databases, and 5,000 - 20,000 times a day each!! ...like wow... > Lastly, there will need to be an simple admin area. I could change the links in the databases directly, but there are so many of them and they need to be changed frequently. Simple enough, I guess: A well-protected admin area where I can select a database by its name, then the database would open in an editing area to simply add or remove urls from within. Note: it can't be a single-link add/remove process. I`ll need to Paste a few in or Cut a few out.. Perhaps the database would open in an editing form or frame, ya know? ( *whew*..cuz I`m out of know-how at this point...lol) And that`s all there is to it:) My other programmer buddy..like jumped out a window.., bummer, so I`m hoping there is someone out there really smart to this as he was. The quote should be very reasonable [ I know this is a simple project for someone who has done this sorta thing ]. I'll need to see a similar POTD or Link Of The Day script you`ve done (and active in a server). I`m taking my time with finding the right person for this..... However simple-easy this project is, it`s a special one:) ..because of the Lightness required, the fact that it will be a mulitiple database system, and with the inclution of cacheing. My sites are very active, so (not to presume anything, but..) the script needs to be very secure and bugless. I'm willing to give all the time you need to get it done (a couple of months if necessary..), no matter, so long as it`s all nice and neat-like and big happy yay:)..(lol grr sowwie).... okok... send a PM..... let me know......... thx:)
