[Smarty, Adult] Change my picture multimedia page to support single pictures instead of albums

Hello, My multimedia website album page currently features a way for users to upload their own image albums. However instead of using albums that are used to separate images, I want all images to be displayed in one page. Instead of having multiple layers of pages ( albums => album => pictures ) I would like a structure like this ( albums#picturewithlightbox ) However, I would still like the ability to filter pictures through categories. In addition, I also would like a hashtag system to be created so users can tag their own images on upload and have the ability to filter tags in the browse page. The isotope function also has to be adjusted as it currently isn't working as I want it to be. I uploaded the before and after (concept) in the attachments (WARNING, ADULT CONTENT) PS.
