I need an experienced SugarCRM 6.2 developer to help me understand how to correctly customize/extend the search fields of a module. I have the functionality implemented, but it's being overwritten when the module is published from Studio, so it must be in the wrong location.

It should be a 15 min job for an experienced Sugar developer.
