Hello, we are basically a insurance brokers company. we want to develop a software to manage and standardise the internal working of insurance brokers. Please find the Scope of project below:

Project Scope:

1. User authentication

-> User login/registration/forgot password

-> Users roles and permissions (Managing Sub Users and Granting them module based permissions)

-> User profile management

2. Audit log management

-> Develop a system to log all CRUD based operations within each modules.

-> Logs will contain previous and new value with modification datetime

-> Logs will contain the user information who made the change

3. Dynamic master database development

-> Specify database name

-> Specify fields to be available in the database

-> Create / Update / Delete data in the dynamically generated databases

-> Create / Update / Delete fields in those databases at any point of time

4. Formulae management

-> A module to generate formulae based on dynamic database name and field names

-> Formulae will be stored in our system which can be Created / Updated / Deleted

-> Ability to use formulae in the quotation templates

5. Policy and add-on management

-> Manage insurance companies and policies (Create / Update / Delete)

-> Manage Add-Ons

-> Assign Add-Ons to policies

6. Quotation format management

-> Ability to create different quotation formats using an editor

-> Update and Delete existing formats

-> Predefined templates (non deletable)

-> Ability to chose cell’s dynamic value and to apply the predefined formats on them

-> Add or remove addons based on the policies chosen

-> Update the price and other autocalculated fields

7. Upload inspection data

-> After the inspection has been done, users can upload the data based on inspection into the system

-> Update addons based on inspection criterias

-> Based on inspection criteria ability to target addons applicable to the customer

-> Ability to manage regulatory guidelines and minimum requirements needed for a low risk case (such

as number of fire hydrants, etc)

-> Ability for the system to check minimum requirements and provide the checklist for ineffective

requirements which will be shown at the time of final quote generation also and needs to be marked

completed before generating final quote

8. Customer portal

-> A dashboard for existing customers to logi

-> Customers can view their existing data inspection data and take relevant actions in order to make red

flags to green

-> Customers can view their past and new quotations and approve / ask for revision

9. Manage customers

-> Develop APIs for syncing customers from CRM

-> Link customers taken from CRM to link them with the quotations generated

10. Managing flag points

-> Define various Flag Statuses (red, green, etc)

-> Define flag categories (combustion, fire hydrants, etc)

-> Define action types on various categories (need 12 fire hydrants, etc)

-> Assign flags to master data

-> When inspection report is uploaded then the flags will trigger checkpoints and create checklists to be

approved before final quote generation

-> Ability to add more points to the checklist

11. Final quotation generation

-> After the inspection info is stored in the system with all checklists fulfilled, users can click on the

generate quotation button

-> Here, a list of insurance companies and their policies will be listed

-> User will select multiple policies and select next where the applicable addons will be listed

-> User will select multiple addons and select a quotation template

-> The final template with calculations will be generated and can be saved as draft in the system

-> Once all changes finalized, the user can request for approval to the higher user

-> Once approved the final quotation will get ready to be downloaded in Excel, PDF formats (The

excel export will be a simple spreadsheet not including the formulas in it)
