I have started development in OctoberCMS using Bootstrap template - as to manage the site as Codeigniter + mySQL or Wordpress don't seem capable of managing the bespoke-ness of what they want as efficiently as I want . Moreover CI seems to be fading. Basically each page is independent and needs to be editable via a WYSIWYG. But October CMS seems to have less footprint but also manage a site that actually doesn't need to rely on MySQL ( each of their product pages are unique and don't follow any set format). Laravel seems to be the best direction to move in. I have a brief and a mobile first design which I will try to attach. Basically, the project is taking what is on the existing site (designed by a magazine designer!) - including admin (news x2 , ex-demo products) and duplicating to OctoberCMS but with the the new mobile first design. If you think any other software can do it better - I'd be happy to hear. a_Theraposture%20V2/PSD/[url removed, login to view] is the approved design. What do you think?
