Are you aware about the Change?- Text does not work with current Geckoboard API anymore; 'type' is supposed to be an int!!
In previous I was sending data: The scenario was something like->
Sending: {"data":
{"item":[{"text":"21.04.2015: ..","type":"2"},{"text":"24.04.2015: ..","type":"2"}]},
"api_key":".."}
But get the Error sending json, error: {"message":"invalid type provided: expected "int", got "string""}
:) Hope to resolve this issue with upcoming version.
Datasets allow to use API to send data from a database or third-party service onto your dashboard. With a single dataset, I can create any number of Widgets from within the Geckoboard application. Datasets give you full control over most popular visualizations and allow you to decide how your data is displayed, making them our most flexible and advanced tools for data visualization.
So here my task will be to create a script that collects data from the source, formats it as a table (schema), and then pushes the data directly to Geckoboard account.
GeckoBoard don't have a director connector yet. So to connect Geckoboard to sql server, I need a middleware app to turn the response from queries into a body that matches the expected format for Geckoboard’s custom widgets.
Now before move into any further stages, I need to know your comments. Please let me know when it will be convenient for you to discuss the details. I am waiting here.
