We're looking for a freelancer to update our website. Specifically, we are in need of design changes and updates. My ideal freelancer is up-to-date with the latest web technologies (LAMP: Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP) and provides high-end designs and solutions. Experience in website design, coding and debugging is necessary. Our website is currently built on OS Commerce and we're currently operating on PHP 5, on our Linux box. We have a MySQL database and use Apache. A lot of our backend tools use C++, so an excellent knowledge of C++ is important as well. Upgrades that we want to our website are: - one page checkout, including guest checkout option so users do not need to create an account to check out if they don't want to - updated to PHP 8 (or newest version of PHP) - updated desktop view, so page looks refreshed and newer, cleaner menus, rounded off boxes, wide screen view without sides being chopped off due to fixed pixel width - mobile view, so our page displays better on tablets and phones - we want to keep all our existing MySQL tables and maintain our existing database and back-end - for design/style changes, we want to remove the side bars, put the search bar at the top of the page, add drop down category lists that hide after you select where you want to go, increase the size of all thumbnail images to 200x160 or larger - we want to retain all existing links and point them to the new pages - incorporate higher quality URLs for all our product pages - SEO optimized URLs and Pages This is what our current webpage looks like: [login to view URL] Feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
