Hi,
I would like to customise my WooCommerce checkout page.
I've attached screenshots of how the page looks currently and how I would like it to look.
I'd like the new design to be in two columns with the checkout fields on the left and the order summary on the right. Within the order summary, I'd like to include the product image.
The layout needs to be responsive, I've also attached a screenshot of the mobile view.
With regards to the checkout fields, I'd like to capture and save the email address first, so I can use this for retargeting incase the cart is abandoned.
Once the email has been entered, the shipping window will open to allow the customer to enter their address.
There's no need to include the 'Leave a note' or to capture the payment details within the order. I've setup stripe and PayPal.
I'd also like to change the 'Continue to Payment' button text to 'Pay Now'.
The checkout fields we require are:
1. Email Address
Then:
1. First Name
2. Last Name
3. Address 1
4. Address 2
5. City
6. County
7. Postal Code
8. Country
9. Telephone
I'd like the new layout to be coded within a child theme and I'd preferably I don't want to use third-party plugins on the site.
