Provide a brief description of these sustainability issues( 1000 words). 2. Provide engineering solutions for THREE of these sustainability challenges using refereed publications including researched examples/case studies from the internet/journal or industry/government publications. (for example: construction waste in civil engineering‐ solutions could include the reuse and recycling of construction waste in creating new or recycled construction materials and products). (1500 words) 3. Analyse ONE of these challenges to examine what role (if any) engineers have played in creating the challenge/problem, e.g. poor design, lack of systems thinking, over‐engineering, old technology etc) ( 500 words). Also ask the question – what other issues have created this sustainability challenge (lack of regulations, lack of product stewardship, poor understanding of energy efficiency)? The assignment should be around 3000 words and written in an expository style with appropriate Harvard style referencing. At least 5 journal papers are expected.
