I may writing a speech for my class its called a object speech and we have to use a outline and I started but now I need help I stuck I copied the outline and pasted it below please help OBJECT SPEECH: Record Player SPECIFIC PURPOSE: to inform my audience about the four things my photo of My 1950s record Player cabinet and how its unique sound and smell makes me feel alive. CENTRAL IDEA: My symbolizes the following: I have Many memories of being with my grandmother at her house. She was absolutely the most wonderful woman in the world to me, and she introduced me to the the most beautiful thing, her record player. I would go to her house and go straight to the den, push down on the top of the record player; the excitement was almost to much to control; the smell of the vinyl was intoxicating, and the sound of the needle (stylus) moving across the vinyl’s grooves amazing. It was and is today my safe haven my own place of peace away from everything. Attention grabber: (song lyrics) “I've got your picture That you gave to me And it's signed with love Just like it used to be The only thing different The only thing new I've got your picture She's got you” ~Patsy Cline. This was the first song I heard on my record player I. Main point: Primarily, the record player put a smile on my face with its sound It made -me feel good. A. Subpoint describing why it’s significant to me: when I would go to my nanny II. Main point: Secondly, A. Subpoint describing why it’s significant to me: III. Main point: Furthermore, A. Subpoint describing why it’s significant to me: IV. Main point: Ultimately, A. Subpoint describing why it’s significant to me: Conclusion: *Make sure to include time to thoroughly incorporate describing your object in your speech.
