Job Booking System: Currently we use a Filemaker Database system connected to a Filemaker server to manage our daily work schedule. The Filemaker system allows us to create Customers and Suppliers details for adding to the Work Sheet and then when completed create Invoices etc. We also have the option to create a Quotes and then to move to a job if accepted. For every task we create a job sheet, Add Staff, Assign a Vehicles, Assign Machinery, stock etc. The current system allows us to create an Invoice when completed, to make invoicing quicker all repeat work type has a set costs which we set up in the price list section, and is assigned to a specific customer, however some prices are Global and are added to every customer in the system. After the work has been completed we create an Invoice, which we either print or email as a .pdf file. We are looking at creating a Web Based App system to improve the look and usability and to include more up to date technologies, such as completing the jobs remotely on a tablet or mobile device, collecting a customer signature at Location, proximity recording of Staff and Asset via beacon technology for timekeeping etc. The system must be secure and allow different levels of Access, and all system code to be accessed with the use of a master key for updates by a suitably qualified developer. The new system should show a main screen of all jobs in the system and, flip between screens to easily identify a number of other relevant statuses to improve the day to day running of the Office, completed jobs that have not released an Invoice, or Work Sheets that have not been completed or signed off by the Staff Member etc. We are looking for an expert developer that can provide us with a solution and advise on which proven technology to use, including AWS knowledge for hosting to keep cost to a minimum cover the system and security we require.
