Quality Control Inspection Agent Needed in Shenzhen, Guangdong

We are an online retail company that sells physical products globally. We are looking to improve the Quality Control of our products at the source (Shenzhen) in China. We need to hire a freelance quality control inspection agent to perform critical QC on our products before they ship from China. It is important the QC agent lives in or near Shenzhen, Guangdong as this is where our manufacturer is based. The work consists of visiting our manufacturer's warehouse in Shenzhen, performing QC in an agreed place using specific methods that we will train & test you on, and communication with us and the manufacturer. QC jobs will be required on an 'as-and-when-needed' basis; each job will likely require around 1-3 days and will have a frequency of 1 job every 2-3 weeks. Once you've mastered the QC, and as our business expands, there is the possibility of being given other tasks e.g. product sourcing, brokering the best deals for shipments, etc. Our key requirements are: * You must be able to follow, understand and carry out basic English written and visual instructions quickly. Suggestions of improvement are also useful. * You must be able to communicate and work well with others e.g. our Chinese manufacturing contact and workers. * You must be reliable and flexible - jobs can be issued just days in advance, and will last for an unpredictable period of time. * You must have an interest/experience in, or be prepared to learn simple, and occasionally physically demanding, QC work in a warehouse environment for long periods of time. * You must have access to a smart phone for use during jobs e.g. sending us pictures of completed assignments, damaged items/issues, communicating with us via IM/email. * You must be trustworthy - we need open, honest, communicative person that does what they say and has the company's interests at heart.
