The applications purpose is to provide simple field data to be entered and submitted to the central database in real time.
A (mostly complete) GUI will be provided, but the successful bidder will be expected to make suggestions to help create the easiest possible entry method for each data field (there is only one column of data) and in such a way as to ensure the user is able to enter information quickly and with the greatest amount of accuracy.
The data transferred between the field and the central database must be kept to an absolute minimum so as to improve the speed and reliability of the mobile device, and its reliable use in as many differing cellular coverage zones as possible.
